at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room.
Bid documents will be available February 5, 2018 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website (www.springfieldcityhall.com).
The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $300,000.00 per year. The bidder shall have a distributor organization with suitable service and repair parts facility which can respond to Springfield DPW located at 70 Tapley Street, Springfield, Massachusetts 01104. Responses to Bid No. 18-107 must include all required documents, completed, and signed. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year in length renewal options. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 14, 2018 by 4:00 P.M. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
