at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room. Bid specifications and requirements may be obtained at the Office of Procurement or in person or through the City’s website during normal business hours for no charge.

The City is soliciting bids for cleaning services at various City Park/Facilities Department Building locations. Services include, trash removal vacuuming, floor cleaning, bathroom cleaning, and miscellaneous cleaning services.

The City will award One (1) contract to a single vendor. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $80,000.00 per year. The initial term of the contract is One (1) year, with Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 8/17/17. 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
