17-125 - Purchase of Solar PV Installation and Portable Motor Control Learning Systems

The City of Springfield Massachusetts through its Public Schools is soliciting bids to Purchase (2) Solar PV Installation Learning Systems and (6) Portable Motor Control Learning Systems for Putnam Vocational Technical Academy.

The learning systems are designed to teach installation and commissioning of interactive and stand-alone photovoltaic systems for commercial and residential systems. This system shall support the learning necessary for student preparation for the NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) test for Certified Solar Photovoltaic System Installer.

Estimated cost: $100,203.00.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.

This Invitation for Bid is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.
