At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFP documents and specifications will be available beginning on December 7, 2016 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hours for no charge.
The City is seeking the services of a qualified “Designer” with the meaning of M.G.L. Chapter 7C, Section 1, to provide professional design and construction administration services for the Replacement of Boilers, Hot Water Pumps, and Associated Equipment at the Springfield Early Childhood Center. Selection of a Designer will be made by the Designer Selection Panel of the City of Springfield, in accordance with all sections of M.G.L. Chapter 7C.
There will be an optional site visit on December 14, 2016 2016 at 2:30 P.M on-site at the school (15 Catherine Street). The Design Fee is to be a negotiated fee, not to exceed 10% of the ECC. Estimated Construction Cost is not to exceed $150,000.00. Proposers must submit written questions no later than December 19, 2016. Questions may be faxed or emailed. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
