Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Designer Selection; Air Conditioning Feasibility at Seven (7) City Schools

At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFQ documents and specifications will be available beginning on August 18, 2016 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hour for no charge.

The City of Springfield seeks qualifications from qualified Design Professionals to perform the project entitled; “Air Conditioning Feasibility at Seven (7) City Schools”. The Design Fee is to be a set fee, not to exceed $35,000.00. The Owner is seeking design services for the potential installation of Air Conditioning Systems at Seven City Schools.
The Seven City Schools include: Margaret Ells, Frank Freedman, Mary Lynch, Alice Beal, Brunton, Mary Pottenger, and Alfred Glickman Schools.

Proposers must submit written questions seven (7) days prior to the RFQ response deadline, or September 1, 2016. Questions may be faxed or emailed. The Office of Procurement fax number is (413) 787-6295.

All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
