at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement.

RFQ specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 8/10/16.

The City through its Department of Capital Asset Construction and its Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Mgt. wishes to engage multi-disciplined architectural firms for a variety of important services on an “as needed” basis. Services will include, but not be limited to: site assessment of existing facilities, construction documents and bidding, feasibility studies, etc.

The Term of the contract will be for One year, with two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. The City anticipates contracting for approximately $750,000 in design services/per firm annually. Up to Five (5) firms may be awarded a contract, at the sole discretion of the City.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 8/18/16, 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered. Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the City.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
