At which time the proposals will be privately opened, logged, and read. RFP documents and specifications will be available for in person pickup during normal business hours at the Office of Procurement beginning on June 22, 2016, or through the City’s website: www.springfieldcityhall.com for no charge.
The City of Springfield is seeking proposals for a Private Management Firm to enter into a management Agreement for the operation of Springfield Symphony Hall. The new Management Firm must be able to honor the current contractual obligations in place and will work with the City of Springfield to achieve City Objectives.
The selected Proposer will be hired as of the execution date of the private management contract, and the selected Proposer will be responsible for booking events at the Symphony Hall and for all services required by the private management contract commencing on the execution date. The anticipated contract length is from July 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. All questions regarding this Request for Proposals or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 29, 2016, by 4:30 P.M.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
