Department Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management

The City of Springfield, Massachusetts through its Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management - Facilities Division seeks to award a contract to a vendor that qualified for demolition, install and repair of lockers at various Springfield schools, on an on-call, as-needed, basis. The initial period of this contract is one year with an optional two year renewal. Estimated value is not to Exceed $200,000.00 per year.

Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30B and other applicable procurement statutes. Bids will be accepted at the Office of Procurement (Room 307 City Hall) until 2:00 PM on April 7, 2016, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Bid documents and specifications will be available in person during normal business hours in the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103, or through the City's website; www.springfieldcityhall.com.Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring.
The City reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so. All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 3/31/16 in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
