Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Services of experienced, qualified Architect/Engineer Designer Services for the Springfield Central Library

At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFQ documents and specifications will be available beginning on June 10, 2015 on www.biddocsonline.com.

The City of Springfield seeks qualification and price proposals from qualified Preservation Professionals to perform the project entitled "Springfield Central Library Conditions Assessment & Universal Accessibility". The Library is located at 220 State Street in Springfield, MA 01103.

There will be an optional site visit on June 16, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at 220 State Street, Springfield, MA 01103. Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend the site visitation. The Design for all Four (4) phases contained in the scope of the work is to be negotiated at no more than $75,000.00. Phases are as follows: Phase I: Architectural/Structural Analysis and Conditions Survey, Phase III: Recommendations, Phase IV: Schematic Design Documents, Phase II: Universal Accessibility.

Proposers must submit written questions seven (7) days prior to the RFQ response deadline, or June 17, 2015. Questions may be faxed or emailed. The Office of Procurement fax number is (413) 787-6295. Questions will be answered via numbered addenda on www.biddocsonline.com

All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
