at which time the proposals will be privately reviewed in the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the required services, to submit proposals for the development of an Aquatic Management Plan for all lakes and ponds that are under the care and control of the Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management (DPBRM). This RFP is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.
The City will award one Contractor to the Consultant that provides the most advantageous proposal to the City. The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain two (2) one-year renewal options, to be exercised at the City's sole discretion. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $20,000.00. RFP documents can be requested through the City's website or in person (during normal business hours) beginning on Tuesday April 14, 2015.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding the RFP or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before April 28, 2015 by 4:00 PM prior to deadline for proposal submittals.
