15-110 - Purchase of Point of Sale (POS) Computer Systems and Hand-held Scanners

Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning October 20, 2014 at 8:30 A.M at the Office of Procurement. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring.

This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.

The City of Springfield through its Public Schools is seeking competitive bids for the purchase of (90) Point of Sale (POS) Computer Systems and (80) Hand-held Scanners to be used in the district school cafeterias.

The estimated cost is $189,600.00.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by Lauren Stabilo, Chief Procurement Officer no later than October 28, 2014 by 4:00 P.M. via email: lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com or via fax: 413-787-6295.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
