DEMOLITION, DISPOSAL and INSTALLATION OF
NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT GUNN SQUARE PARK

The Parks, Facilities and Recreation Management Department with the City of Springfield request bid proposals for the demolition and installation of playground equipment at Gunn Square Park. The Project includes the removal of one playground unit, one single post swing set unit with two belts and two toddler seats and one toddler climbing unit. All equipment will need to be disposed of properly and follow all state and local regulations. The equipment has already been purchased from M.E. O'Brien Inc. and the following units will need to be installed: 1 #MEO13584 Playshaper Playstructure for ages 2-5 years old; 1 Single Post Swing Set with two belt seats and two full bucket toddler seats; 1 #MEO13605 56" Gemini Slidewinder 2 Independent Slide Structure with deck and access steps.


All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be put in writing and received by the Office of Procurement at least Seven (7) business days prior to bid opening. Bids are due on 6/11/14, at 2:00 P.M. EST. Bids will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room.
