SPG 13-401 - RFP: On-Call, As Needed Cleaning Services for Forest Park Buildings and Emma's Place

The City of Springfield acting through its Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management wishes to obtain the services for On-Call, As Needed Cleaning Services for buildings located at Forest Park and Emma's Place in Springfield, MA. The selected vendor shall furnish all services, all labor, supplies, equipment, personnel and management to clean the listed buildings to the specifications of the RFP.

The estimated cost is $40,000.00 per year.

A Pre-Bid Walk Through will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be held at The Carriage House, 200 Trafton Road, Springfield MA 01108. The contact person is Peter Krupczak, Assistant Director of Employee Operations at 413-787-6283.

The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and woman participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 6, 2013 by 4:00 p.m.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
