SPG 13-301 - RFP: Development, Use and Management of Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy Banking Center

Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy ("Putnam") wishes to obtain the services of a local banking and financial institution (the "Bank") to develop and manage a banking center to be located within the new Putnam Vocational Technical Academy building. This banking center will be used as a hands-on training site for students in Putnam's Retail, Marketing and Finance Program.
The Bank will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the Putnam Construction Trade Programs in the design and build-out of the banking center.
A MANDATORY Pre-Submission Meeting will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM. The meeting will be held at Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy, Media Center, Room A201, 1300 State Street, Springfield MA 01109. The City will not consider the proposal of any bank that did not attend the pre-submission meeting.
The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and woman participation in all contracts.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 12, 2013 by 4:00 p.m.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
