The City of Springfield is requesting proposals for the disposition and redevelopment of 632 Page Boulevard. (Street and Property Number 09940-0109) The property consists of 5,644 square feet of total land area. There is a two story commercial building on the property that contains 11,110 square feet of gross building area. The property is located in the East Springfield neighborhood with excellent access to Interstate 291. This property is being sold or leased "as is," and the City makes no representations regarding environmental condition and will require the buyer to assume responsibility for these conditions.

The Request for Proposal "RFP" is available beginning
Wednesday, July 4, 2012.

Office of Procurement will be closed July 4, 2012 but interested proposer's can download off State website at www.comm-pass.com.

The property is located on the corner of Page Boulevard and Osborne Terrace in the East Springfield section of the City with excellent access to Interstate 291. The property consists of 5,644 square feet of total land area. There is a two story commercial building on the property that contains 11,110 square feet of gross building area.

The building has been vacant for a number of years and appears to have significant deferred maintenance issues. A copy of the summary appraisal report prepared by Crowley & Associates on May 3, 2012 is attached to this RFP.

Site Visit
The City has scheduled a site visit on July 17, 2012 from 1:00p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Attendance by Proposers is optional.


The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 10 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
