SPG 12-094 - PA: Services-Repair and Maintenance of Musical Instruments

End date: Wednesday September 21, 2011 at 2 p.m.

Bid documents will be available at no charge through two channels beginning September 6, 2011. All inquiries should reference the bid number and the opening dates.

1. Online at www.comm-pass.com by selecting the Solicitation tab and using the Browse All Open by Entity (City of Springfield) option at any time 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Vendors can search open solicitations for this bid under SPG 12-094.

2. In person at the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 405, Springfield, MA 01103 during
normal business days, Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Please refer to the
bid number and the opening date when inquiring. This Bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.

The purpose of the above bid is to obtain instrument repair and maintenance services for various Springfield Public Schools.

Price agreement period will be from October 1, 2011 - September 30, 2012 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Estimated cost is $ 40,000.00 per year.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
