11-011 - RFP: Provide Property Management & Maintenance Services for Springfield Redevelopment Authority

In accordance with MGL Chapter 30B, the City of Springfield\'s Office of Procurement, on behalf of the Springfield Redevelopment Authority (hereafter \"SRA\") invites proposals from qualified individuals, firms, entities and/or joint ventures (hereafter \"Firms\") to provide Property Management and Property Maintenance Services for certain properties to be acquired by the SRA pursuant to the South End Urban Renewal Plan, Amendment # 8 (hereafter \"SEURP #8).

The Firm will be required to perform all necessary and/or requested property management services and property maintenance services for nine properties to be acquired by the SRA (see Exhibit A for a listing of properties) in the course of its implementation of the SEURP #8, until such time as any tenants and/or owner occupants are relocated and the properties demolished. It is estimated that property management and property maintenance services for any given property may take a minimum of four (4) months up to twelve (12) months.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement business no later than 5 business days prior to deadline for proposal submittals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
