10-197 - PA:Services: Reconditioning of Athletic Equipment

The City of Springfield, through the School Department requests bids for the Cleaning and Reconditioning of Athletic Equipment.

Price Agreement period will be from November 1, 2009- October 31, 2010 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Estimated cost is not to exceed $20,000.00 per year. Any vendor submitting a proposal must include a formal statement of net worth or have product liability insurance of not less than $10,000,000.00. Failure to submit this formal statement will result in disqualification of the bid/proposal.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
