10-188 - (5) CNC Tool Room Mill
End date: Monday November 2, 2009 at 2 p.m.The City of Springfield School Department is seeking competitive bids for five (5) CNC Tool Room Mills. Vertical Machining Center at a minimum shall have: 30"x12"x16' (xyz) machine travels, a 7.5 hp, 4,000 rpm, variable speed spindle, a full table chip and coolant guard, a coolant pump and tank system, brushless serve motors on all three axis drives, standard CT40 taper cooling, a pneumatic drawbar which uses pull studs and one year warranty covering parts and on-site labor from the date of installation. Include freight and set up. Estimated total cost is $125,000.00.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase at least seven business days prior to bid opening.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
