10-095 - Consultants to Provide On-Call Professional Engineering Services

SERVICE REQUIRED: The City of Springfield (City) through its Department of Public Works (DPW) and other various City Departments wishes to engage a multi-disciplined engineering firms (Consultants) for a variety of important services on an "as needed" basis. This procurement will cover the general engineering needs of the DPW. The Consultants may be required to accomplish projects, which require special expertise and/or are too large for execution by the City.

The City retains the right to procure similar engineering services outside of any contract entered into as a result of this bid solicitation.

Contract term: One year, with two optional renewal years at the sole option of the City of Springfield.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
