The City of Springfield, through the Office of Planning and Economic Development has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of revitalizing and strengthening neighborhood business districts to encourage economic growth, entrepreneurship and improve quality of life.
The Neighborhood Centers program will use public and private resources to revitalize key Springfield commercial corridors in partnership with local community and business associations. Special consideration is afforded to Boston Road, Downtown, Hungry Hill, Indian Orchard Main Street, North End/Memorial Square, South End, State Street Corridor, and The ‘X\', however organizations serving other districts are encouraged to apply as well.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments concerning this document.

REVITALIZACION DE DISTRITOS DE NEGOCIOS EN LOS VECINDARIOS
La ciudad de Springfield y la Oficina de Planificación y Desarrollo Económico, ha preparado una solicitud de propuestas (RFP - Request for Proposals) con el propósito de revitalizar y fortificar los distritos de negocios en los vecindarios, alentar el desarrollo económico, los empresarios y mejorar la calidad de vida.
El programa Neighborhood Centers (Centros del Vecindario) utilizará recursos públicos y privados para revitalizar corredores comerciales en Springfield y en coordinación con la communidad y asociaciones de negocios. Se dará consideración especial a organizaciones en las siguientes áreas: Boston Road, Downtown, Hungry Hill, Indian Orchard Main Street, North End/Memorial Square, South End, State Street Corridor, y The ‘X\'. No obstante, organizaciones en otros distritos están invitados para aplicar y serán considerados.
