395 - Services: Demolition of 206-208 Walnut Street

The City of Springfield is soliciting bids for the Demolition of 206-208 Walnut Street.

Plans and specifications are available weekdays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A non-refundable deposit of $10.00 in the form of a certified or bank check or to the order of "The City of Springfield, MA" is required. All inquiries should reference the bid number and the opening dates. Bids will be available at the Department of Purchase on Wednesday, April 8, 2009.

Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30 sec. 39M as amended, and other applicable statutes. Estimated cost of project is Thirty Five Thousand ($35,000.00) Dollars.

Site Visit
Site will be open and available for inspection on April 15, 2009 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. Bidders may contact Mr. Steve Desilets, Building Department, at (413) 787-6031.

Deadline for Questions
All questions regarding the specifications of this request or of the process of this procurement shall be addressed, in writing to the Chief Procurement Officer and received by the close of business on April 21, 2009. Facsimile communications are acceptable.
