290 - RFP-Enterprise Application Developer for Springfield Public Schools

Contract agreement period will be from February 1, 2009-June 30, 2009. Total cost $65,000.00.
The purpose of the RFP is to obtain the services of a qualified Contractor to act as an Application Developer for the Springfield Public Schools Department. The Contractor shall be responsible for designing,coding,testing,debugging,deploying, maintaining and documenting software applications as further specified in this RFP. The Contractor will be responsible for cross training the information systems development staff of the Springfield Public Schools on proven practices of application development and design.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
