117 - Services: Repair & Maintenance of Music Instruments

End date: Monday October 6, 2008 at 2 p.m.

The purpose of this agreement is to obtain instrument repair and maintenance services for various Springfield Public Schools.

Instruments will be picked up from various school sites, repaired and returned to their school sites on a weekly basis, or as arranged through the Director of Visual and Performing Arts. Pick Up and delivery of repairs shall be provided free of charge. On-sight minor repairs or adjustments will be done free of charge.

Estimate Cost per year is $10,000.00. City reserves the option to renew this agreement for two (2) additional years.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
