91 - Purchase of (1) Aerial Platform Truck, (1) Traffic Signal Repair Truck & (4) Five Seat Passenger Veh

The City of Springfield Department of Public Works is seeking competitive bids for (1) Aerial Platform dual rear wheel truck with a minimum GVW of 15, 000 lbs and (1) Traffic Signal Repair Truck with a minimum GVW of 15,000 lbs. The units will be used by the Department of traffic signal repair and maintenance. The four (4) five seat passenger cars with a minimum wheelbase of 102.9 inches will be used by the Code Enforcement Department. Estimated total cost is $140,000.00.

Each unit shall be the manufacturer's latest model. The units shall be furnished and delivered new, complete and ready for use.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Acting Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase at least seven business days prior to bid opening.
