69 - Emergency Temporary Accommodations

End date: Friday October 26, 2007 at 2 p.m.

Price agreement period will be from November 15, 2007 - November 14, 2008. Estimated cost for services is $25,000.00 per year.

The City of Springfield, acting through the Chief Procurement Officer and the City's Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services issues this Price Agreement to parties ("Bidder" or "Vendor") who have an interest in providing the City with emergency housing to individuals and families displaced by the condemnation of their housing unit(s) under the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code. The Vendor must provide twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day week emergency placement of individuals and families at a specified location. ").

Bidder must provide documentation showing that the lodging facility has been successfully established and maintained for a period of not less than three (3) years prior to the date of this bid in addition to documentation(s) that the facility is licensed as a hotel or motel authorized by law to provide lodging to individuals and/or families.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Acting Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. No questions will be answered unless received by the Acting Chief Procurement Officer at least seven business days prior to the expiration of the time set for filing bids.
