39 - PA: Safety Shoes

The City of Springfield Department of Public Works is seeking bids to furnish and deliver approximately two hundred and fifty (250) pairs more or less of Safety Shoes. This agreement will also include the Park and Police Department.

Price Agreement period will be from October 1, 2007 - September 30, 2008 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Estimated cost is $16,000.00 per year.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Deputy Purchasing Agent reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. No questions will be answered unless received by the Deputy Purchasing Agent at least seven business days prior to the expiration of the time set for filing bids.
