148A - Services: Mowing, Clearance & Debris Removal for Various Properties

The Office of Housing, issues these Request for bids to contractors who have an interest in furnishing all equipment and labor for lot mowing/clearance and debris removal at various properties as required by the Office of Housing.

The City hereby requests sealed bids for mowing, clearing, debris removal services for the period May 1, 2008 to April 30th , 2009. The City reserves the right at its sole discretion to renew this Agreement for an additional two (2) one (1) year terms. Estimated cost of Agreement $60,000.00/ year.

Questions regarding the RFP may also be submitted in writing to the Purchase Department. In order to provide prompt answers to questions, the RFP Review Committee requests that all Proposers submit written questions ten days prior to the RFP response deadline. Accordingly, questions must be received in writing only at the City of Springfield's, Department of Purchase on April 15, 2008 by 4:00 P.M. Questions may be faxed or mailed. The Acting Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
