148 - Services: Mowing, Clearance & Debris Removal for Various Properties

The Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services, issues this invitation for bids to contractors who have an interest in furnishing all equipment and labor for lot mowing/clearance and debris removal at various properties as required by the Office of Housing.

The City hereby requests sealed bids for mowing/clearing and debris removal services for the period of February 1, 2008 through January 31, 2009. City reserves the option to renew for two additional years. Estimated cost of agreement is $60,000.00.

All questions regarding the above bid must be received in writing only at the City of Springfield's Department of Purchase on January 16, 2008 by 4:00 P.M. Questions may be faxed or mailed. Department of Purchase fax number is (413) 787-6295.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 10 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
