111 - Disposition and Redevelopment of 67 Margaret Street

The City of Springfield is requesting proposal for the disposition and redevelopment of the S/S of Margaret Street (67). Bid No. 111 - Minimum price: $24,000.00

The parcel consists of 3,252 square feet and is located in the South End Neighborhood (parcel number 08255-0054). The property is being sold "as is" and the City makes no representations regarding environmental condition and will require the buyer to assume responsibility for these conditions. Property is zoned Residence C. The City is most interested in development proposals that reuse the property for open space and parking and compliments the uses in the area.

Questions regarding the RFP may also be submitted in writing to the Purchase Department. In order to provide prompt answers to questions, the RFP Review Committee requests that all Proposers submit written questions ten days prior to the RFP response deadline. Accordingly, questions must be received in writing only at the City of Springfield's, Department of Purchase on December 6, 2007 by 4:00 P.M. The RFP committee will compile written answers which will be mailed back to all proposers who requested a copy of the RFP, no later than Wednesday, December 12, 2007.

The Acting Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
