013 - RFP: Title I Educational Services for Non-Public School Students

The City of Springfield Public Schools Title I Program is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish educational services according to the requirements of the federally-funded Title I Program to eligible students enrolled in non-public, private, and religious schools.

The purpose of this RFP is to find and contract a qualified third party to provide supplemental educational services in the areas of reading and mathematics to non-public students, and language arts instruction to kindergarten students. Services will be delivered to those students who meet the eligibility criteria and who reside in eligible school attendance areas. Those attendance areas designated as school-wide or local school projects in the public school sector will determine the number of eligible students.

The estimated cost of this RFP is FOR $150,972.00. The per-pupil allocation is $645.00

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 10 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
