S-2181 - For Sale: Vending Concession for Food and Beverages at Forest Park Ball Field

End date: Tuesday February 13, 2007 at 2 p.m.

The Springfield Board of Park Commissioners, are requesting bids from qualified vendors, experienced in the preparation and sale of food and beverages, for concession rights for food, beverages and refreshment items at Forest Park Ball Field in Springfield, MA. The term of agreement is for six (6) months, commencing: April 15, 2007 through November 1, 2007. Minimum bid for the annual contract term at Forest Park is $5,000.00. The City may at is sole option, extend these contracts for an additional two (2) years.


The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
