320 - Services: Repair Ladder Truck #3

The Springfield Fire Department is going out to bid for repair of a damaged section of aerial on a 1982 Maxim 100' aerial ladder truck. The Contractor shall provide documentation, satisfactory to the owner, supporting their ability to repair Maxim type aerial ladders. All workmanship and materials to be of a quality suitable for the purpose intended and all to be done to the satisfaction of the owner.

Estimated repair cost is twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00).

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
