282 - PA: Tires and Tubes

The City of Springfield is going out to bid for Tires and Tubes.

Estimated yearly expenditure is $95,000.00 for one (1) year with the option to renew for two (2) additional one year terms upon the Mayor's approval and appropriation of funds.

Orders for tires and tubes will be placed by various City Departments, as they are needed. Vendor must be based in the Greater Springfield area. Prices shall include delivery to various departments within the City limits, as well as tire mounting when required. See bid for more detailed specifications.

Each bidder must submit with his bid, his current price sheet to be used by the City of Springfield on the pricing of any items(s) not on the attached list.

The City, at its option, may award the total bid to one vendor or award individual lots separtely.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
