227 - Services: Sidewalk Reconstruction 2007
End date: Tuesday March 6, 2007 at 2 p.m.Reconstruction of approximately 32,133 LF of six (6) foot wide cement concrete and bituminous concrete sidewalks and associated work at various locations throughout the City. Estimated cost of the project: $1,650,000.00.
A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 in the form of a certified or bank check payable to the "City of Springfield, MA" is required for each Project Manual. All inquiries should reference the bid number and the opening date.
BIDDERS MUST BE PRE-QUALIFIED THRU THE MASSACHUSETTS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT. CONTRACTORS MUST PRESENT THEIR MASS PREQUALIFICATION APPROVAL FORM TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PURCHASE PRIOR TO RECEIVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase no later than February 23, 2007 by 4:00 P.M.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
