The City of Springfield Police Department is requesting bids for Summer and Winter Caps.

Description: Approx. (26) Captain/Lieutenant uniform caps, (50) Sergeant uniform caps and (400) Patrolman uniform caps. Winter wear eight (8) point cap all wool serge-excluding ornamentation. Summer wear eight (8) point cap, material to be of white nylon mesh with a stationary top for Lieutenant/Captain and Sergeant caps. Patrolman summer wear material to be of dark blue nylon mesh with a stationary top.

Estimated cost per year is $12,000.00. This price agreement has an option to renew for two additional one- year terms.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
