209 - Food Service Program Consultant

The City of Springfield School Committee is seeking the services of a qualified vendor to provide financial and program review of privatized Food Service program. Provide professional development to district's Food Service Coordinator. The RFP needs to be developed during the Spring of 2007 for program implementation on July 1, 2007. Provide monitoring of vending program during the 2007-2008 school year

Estimated Cost of Consultant is $50,000.00. Timeline for this position is February 12, 2007 to June 30, 2007 with the option to renew. The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, § 6.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase business no later than January 23, 2007 by 4:00 P.M.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
