208 - Lease and Service for Motorized Golf Carts at Veteran's and Franconia Golf Courses

The City of Springfield, Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management, hereby seeks a lump sum price for leasing and servicing golf carts, as well as a unit price for additional carts as needed at both Franconia and Veterans' Golf Courses. This cost will include lump sum with a supporting unit for daily rental of additional carts on an as needed basis with no guarantees for minimum or maximum rentals. The expected budget for the base bid of this project is $100,000.00 to include a total of 120 golf carts plus yearly service.

Supply and deliver 65 carts to Franconia Golf Course and fifty five carts to Veterans' Golf Course to total 120. Costs shall include drop off to each course for March 1, 2007 and pickup of all carts to each course on December 1, 2007.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
