206 - For Sale: Vending Concession: Food & Beverages at Franconia Golf Course

End date: Thursday February 8, 2007 at 2 p.m.

The Springfield Board of Park Commissioners, are requesting bids from qualified vendors, experienced in the preparation and sale of food and beverages, for concession rights for food and beverage sales at Franconia golf course in Springfield, MA. The annual contract terms are specified below.

Period of Agreement for above services is from: March 16, 2007 through November 30, 2007. Minimum bid for the annual contract term at Franconia is $25,000.00. The City may at is sole option, extend this contract for an additional two (2) years.

A $15,000 letter of credit must be submitted with bid at time of opening as evidence of financial capacity.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
