196 - Services: Grant Writing Technical Assistance for MSAP Grant Application
End date: Wednesday January 10, 2007 at 2 p.m.The Springfield Public Schools (SPS) is seeking bids for technical assistance in writing the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant application for the 2007-10 school years. The consultant or consulting group must provide a description of the services the group proposes to provide with a detailed budget listing associated costs for the proposal writing tasks detailed below. The estimated cost is $10,000.00.
The consultant or consulting group must have at least 10 years experience in every facet of Magnet Schools Assistance Program development and implementation, including knowledge of MSAP legislation, MSAP program development, and hands-on MSAP program implementation at the school district/school level.
The consultant or consulting group must have had at least 85 percent of the Magnet Schools Assistance Program grant applications that it prepared funded.
The consultant or consulting group must provide evidence that s/he or the group has conducted national MSAP evaluation presentations/workshops sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, state agencies and national and local magnet schools and desegregation organizations.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
