122 - PA: Oxygen & Acetylene Cylinder Rental Yearly Lease

The Springfield Department of Public Works is going out for a Price Agreement for Oxygen & Acetylene cylinder rental yearly lease. Approximately 15,000 C.F of Oxygen in 249 cubic foot cylinders and 5,000 C.F. of Acetylene 103-140 cubic foot cylinders. Estimated cost per year is $1,000.00. Price Agreement period is November 1, 2006-October 31, 2007.

Cylinder leases are to be paid for the year by the facility, with the option of monthly leases for additional cylinders if needed.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
