at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Department of Purchase Bid Room. Bid documents will be available April 5, 2006 at the Department of Purchase.

The City of Springfield is requesting proposals for the redevelopment of 20-28 Hancock Street. The City will entertain all offers that meet the minimum bid. A scheduled site tour will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. The property has been assessed at $641,200.00.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase business no later than May 12, 2006 by 4:00 P.M.


The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
