The Springfield Redevelopment Authority (hereafter SRA), acting by and through the City of Springfield (hereafter CITY) is requesting proposals for the redevelopment of the following residential/commercial parcel.

A tour of the site will take place on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 11:30 a.m.

MINIMUM BID PRICE FOR THE PROPERTY IS $15,000.

The above tour date will be the only scheduled visit of the parcel; individual requests for access will not be accommodated.

One pre-proposal technical assistance workshop will be held on April 24th at 12:00 noon in room 220 of Springfield City Hall. The workshop is intended as a resource tool for potential proposers to understand the forms that must be completed as well as an opportunity to receive clarification on any information presented in the Request for Proposals (RFP). Assistance in the completion of a submission including any assistance in assembling a development team and/or financial analysis cannot be provided.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
