Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, State Representatives Joe Wagner and Brian Ashe, and members of the Yee family for an update at Mercy Medical Center on the Andy Yee Family Palliative Care Unit.

Mayor Sarno states, “Andy Yee was a great man and is dearly missed by his family and friends.  This is such a heartfelt tribute for such a caring and devoted family – the Yee Family.  Our love, thoughts and best wishes continue to go out to Andy’s wife Sarah, mother Linda and the entire Yee family and friends.  The Palliative Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center helps so many individuals and families dealing with serious ailments and compassionate end-of-life care for loved ones.  Mercy’s dedicated palliative care team is always there to provide the best quality of life for patient’s well-being - mind, body and spirit, and having this unit named in honor of Andy Yee’s memory is a touching tribute.”

Mercy Medical Center announced in June the plans of the Andy Yee Palliative Care Unit.
