The Springfield Department of Public Works reminds residents that there will be no collection of trash, yard waste, recycling or bulk item materials on Thursday, November 28th due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Residents normally scheduled for trash, recycling and yard waste on Thursday, November 28th will have their items picked up on Saturday, November 30th. Yard waste is extremely heavy at this time of year. If the yard waste routes are not complete at the end of the day, we will collect the next day until caught up.
Residents are asked to have their items to the curb by 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30t
