Mayor Sarno Meets with Representatives from Eversource Energy
Mayor Domenic J. Sarno met with James W. Hunt, Esp., Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Chief Communications Officer for Eversource Energy. The meeting included a discussion on Eversource’s continued operations and work in the City of Springfield. Attorney Hunt also provided an update on the status of Eversource Energy’s eventual purchase and takeover of Columbia Gas of Massachusetts and what that would mean for the City and what potential changes might happen for our residents and businesses who are customers of Columbia Gas.
