The City of Springfield, in collaboration with the DOJ Settlement Agreement, has issued new policies in accordance with standards set forth by Massachusetts General Law, the Municipal Police Training Council, Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission, and the Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Commission.
