Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “Due to another nor’easter, timing of the storm, a now increased snowfall total and upon recommendation of emergency preparedness officials, Springfield City Hall will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13, 2018. This pertains to all non-emergency employees. All city emergency and essential services will remain intact. Also if possible, we urge that residents stay off the roads. Please be prepared and stay safe.”
Additionally, please be advised that Trash and Recycling Services scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, 2018 has been cancelled. Trash and Recycling service scheduled for Tuesday will be picked up on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Please have your barrels at the curb prior to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.
