Superintendent Akers Recognizes Officer Justin Jaworski

Springfield, Mass. --- Springfield Police Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers would like to publicly recognize Officer Justin Jaworski for serving the public in a manner that shines a positive light on our department.

Superintendent Akers received an email from a Chicopee resident thanking Officer Jaworski for his assistance when his car broke down near Western New England University.  In part it reads, “My vehicle was disabled in the middle of the roadway, creating a stressful and potentially dangerous situation.  The 9-1-1 operator was outstanding and the responding officer (Jaworski) was exceptionally professional, helpful and friendly.  He quickly assisted me and helped make a difficult situation much easier to manage.  I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Springfield Police Department and especially to the officer (Jaworski) who assisted me that afternoon.”
