SPD Congratulates Sergeant Donald "Denny" Denault on his Retirement

Springfield, Mass. — On behalf of the Springfield Police Department, Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers congratulates Sergeant Donald Denault on his retirement. 

Sergeant Denault joined the Springfield Police Department in 1997 and has served the city for the past 28 years.  Prior to becoming a Police Officer, Denault was a Corrections Officer.  

During his career, Denault spent time in the Uniform Division and in the Student Support Unit.  He was promoted to Sergeant in 2015 and retires with Sergeant badge #3.  

For the past decade, Sergeant Denault has been a Supervisor in the Detective Bureau, most recently overseeing the crimes against property and auto-theft units.  

We wish Denny health and happiness in his retirement!
